Job Description:

Dynaflow, Inc. is currently seeking a candidate with a strong background in computational fluid dynamics to join its full time technical staff. The successful candidate will assist in conducting and procuring research and development projects entailing analytical and numerical research and development for applications in high speed fluid mechanics, multi-phase flow, bubble dynamics, and acoustics.

The position entails further developing Dynaflow's CFD software 3DYNAFS© in order to expand its compressible liquid module to the study of two-phase flow dynamics. This would first involve cavitation and bubble dynamics interaction with nearby material boundaries, and investigating acoustic wave propagation in bubbly media. The position requires familiarity with parallel computing software development.

Candidates should also have a strong interest in understanding the physical aspects of problems and be creative, tenacious, and ambitious. Ultimately, the selected candidate should be interested in developing own expertise areas and enhancing the marketability of the company’s capabilities.

Candidates with interest and capabilities in both the numerical and experimental aspects of research and development are preferred.
